EURL Network in Public Health meeting (Luxembourg)

Representatives of the EURL-PH-FWDB took part in the first meeting of the European Union Reference Laboratories (EURL) network for Public Health, held in Luxembourg on 22–23 May 2025.

The meeting brought together nine EURLs—six already operating and three newly established in the field of food- and water-borne diseases, including our EURL—providing a valuable opportunity to meet for the first time, learn from more experienced laboratories, and exchange knowledge.

Organised by ECDC and DG SANTE, the meeting also focused on strengthening collaboration, agreeing on ways of working together, and setting priorities for laboratory support across the EU.
