The EURL-PH-FWDB kick-off meeting aims to bring together EURL representatives, HaDEA and DG SANTE contacts, and ECDC technical counterparts to mark the official launch of the EURL and present its annual work plan. The participation of observers from EFSA, relevant EURLs in the food and feed sectors, and WHO collaborating centres supports alignment of EURL activities across sectors and related initiatives.

Target audience: This training is intended for microbiologists and technicians at public health institutes involved in Salmonella outbreak detections who are interested in the full WGS workflow, from laboratory background to cluster analysis. No prior WGS experience is required, as the course starts at an introductory level.

Target audience: This training is intended for microbiologists and technicians at public health institutes involved in the diagnosis of diarrhoeagenic E. coli infections and the characterisation of STEC and other pathotypes, including Enteroinvasive E. coli (EIEC), Enterotoxigenic E. coli (ETEC), and Enteroaggregative E. coli (EAEC). This course includes practical laboratory exercises.
