EURL Network in Public Health meeting Sweden

Representatives of the EURL-PH-FWDB took part in the second meeting of the European Union Reference Laboratories (EURL) network for Public Health, held in Stockholm, Sweden on 27–28 April 2026.

The meeting brought together representatives from nine EURLs, including the newly designated EURL on respiratory viruses, ECDC, WHO, DG Sante and HaDEA. The topics included on how to strengthen cooperation, share operational experiences and challenges, clarify the role of EURLs within the EU and globally, further develop how the network works together, and agree on shared priorities for laboratory support across the EU.
